Don’t let Market Harborough lose its individual market

I AM dismayed to hear that it is proposed to close down and relocate Market Harborough market.

I live nearer to Northampton but choose to shop in Market Harborough.

The covered market with its wide variety of stalls and its excellent cafe are high on my list of reasons for doing this.

There have been detrimental changes in Northampton which include high car parking charges, the closure of the covered market and the decline of the once-lively outdoor market place.

I would hate to see Market Harborough lose its individual market to house another retail outlet.
