Join the bowling club and have fun
CAN anyone tell me why Market Harborough and District Indoor Bowling Club would appear to be in decline? I’m not sure and I’m a member.
Do I blame management for steadily eroding the facilities, generally treating the members as second-class citizens, and eventually driving them away, or does the fault lie with the people of Market Harborough and district?
All I can say for sure is that if we don’t use it we will almost certainly lose it.
So come on everybody, join the club so we can fight management from a position of strength.
Finally, take my word, we are a great club who will make new members very welcome and ensure that they enjoy themselves.
I have shown this letter to the bowls committee and they back my sentiments 100 per cent.
