Scouts are so grateful for your help

On behalf of the 3rd Market Harborough Scout Group, I would like to say a big thank you to all those who supported us when we accompanied Father Christmas on his sleigh during the month of December.

We raised the magnificent sum of £5,160 thanks to the generosity of the people of Market Harborough and the surrounding villages.

The donations will benefit the scout group, Glossop Mountain Rescue Team, and the Leicestershire Parent Group of Diabetes UK.

We would not only like to thank those who donated the money, but all those volunteers who gave up their time to assist Santa each evening and of course Protheroe’s Garage, whose van allowed Rudolph to rest up ready for Christmas Eve.
