Wild and Woolly success

THE Wild and Woolly event held on boxing day last year has raised a grand total of just under £2,000 for charity.

Fraser Law, one of the organisers behind the event has extended a big thank you to the people of Harborough for their generosity.

Mr Law said: “I’d like to thank the people of Market Harborough for giving so generously to our collection.

The muddy motorcycle racing event was held in Harborough for the first time in its long history and it attracted huge crowds.

The £1999.89 was split three ways between the Foxton Scout Group, Harborough Town Junior Football Club and Northampton Emergency Ambulance Team.

Talks are still ongoing to see whether the event will be held in Harborough this year.
