Miriam's stunning landscapes

STUNNING scenery of the Harborough countryside has been captured by a town photographer.

A fortnight ago, the Mail's sister paper the Harborough Citizen issued an appeal to amateur photographers to send in their work for publication on the Harborough Mail's website.

That call has been answered by Miriam Newell who has now seen six of her beautiful landscape pictures published online.

The photos include two taken in the recent snowy conditions as well as four shots of lush landscapes.

"We have recently moved to Harborough and love the surrounding countryside," Miriam said in an email, "The views are from Harborough looking towards Great Bowden. The canal with the building at the side is by Great Bowden and the canal and trees are the walk between Harborough canal basin towards Great Bowden."
