SENIOR citizens enjoyed a day of activities at Harborough Methodist Church.

The Holiday at Home Day involved pensioners taking part in a wide variety of workshops.

Activities on offer for the 41 who attended included painting, origami, clay modelling, drama and story telling.

The workshops held last month were followed by a lunch and talk on the work of Torch House for the Blind.

The event has been organised by Harborough Churches Together for the last four years and is next scheduled to take place in August.
