A LUTTERWORTH choir which performs pop, Motown, gospel and chart hits is looking for new members as it prepares for a concert at the O2 Arena in London next year and at the Lutterworth Christmas lights switch-on.

Rock Choir meets at Lutterworth Town Hall at 8pm on Tuesday evenings and has 50 to 60 excited and enthusiastic amateur singers.

Tim Fisher said: “New members don’t need to audition. In fact, they don’t even need to have sung in public before. It is for ordinary people who love to sing but perhaps have not had the opportunity or confidence to do so before.”

The Rock Choir is in its second year and is run by Lutterworth-born Sarah Stephens, who is the Choir Leader for several other Rock Choirs.
