Activities galore at well-supported event

More than 150 people braved the cold to enjoy winter activities at St Mary’s Church in Lutterworth.

The Winter Watch event, organised by Getting Lutterworth Growing, saw visitors young and old enjoy a scavenger hunt as well as crafts including making bird feeders and spider-web catchers

Sue Turner, of the group, said: “Our previous Watch events have been well supported and it just seemed natural to extend into the winter season.”

Organiser Sharon Wells added: “Everyone reacted so positively to what we were offering, it was a great atmosphere.”
