A TEENAGER from Harborough is vying for votes to reach the final of a charitable modelling contest.
Jade Pymm (13) was invited to enter the Teen Queen UK competition while on a trip to the Clothes Show Live.
After visiting London for a photoshoot earlier this month, she was selected as a monthly ambassador for UK Teen Dreams, which raises money for the Mad Foundation to develop projects in Ghana.
The Welland Park Community College student now needs votes to make it to the live final in March 2012.
The overall winner will visit third world countries to help with projects run by the competition’s charity.
“I am really excited to be given this chance to change some peoples lives,” said Jade.

All voters must be over 18 and have permission from the bill payer and 5p from every vote is donated to The Mad Foundation.
The closing date for votes is March 4.
