Celeb mag editor's talk

EVER wondered what it's like to interview George Clooney, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson or Justin Timberlake?

Celebrity interviewer and former deputy editor of Heat magazine Jo Carnegie is to give a talk at Harborough Library, in Adam and Eve Street, Harborough, this Wednesday (May 12).

Jo will recount lots of celebrity-filled gossip from her days at the magazine as well as talking about her Churchminster series of books.

Tickets for the talk cost 2, which can be redeemed on the night against a purchase of one of Jo's novels.

People can reserve tickets on 0116 3053627 but need to pay for them and pick them up from the library.

Jo lives in London and Cardiff. She spent her early career as a fledgling reporter on Bedfordshire's Biggleswade Chronicle before working at More! and Glamour magazine and most recently as deputy-editor of Heat. She now writes features for the magazine.

She has also interviewed Will Smith, Posh and Becks and Kylie Minogue. The Churchminster series of books revolve around the racy and scandalous pursuits of a rural community.

The talk starts at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be served.
