Hilarious repartee promised

BILLED as a "hilarious Northern comedy", Kibworth Theatre Company's upcoming production is To Have and Too Old.

The Sylvia Walker play, directed by Mark Wood, revolves around elderly and middle-aged ramblers, most of whom are looking for - and find - romance.

Daredevil Florrie (Ingrid Cooke) spars with acid-tongued Derek (Stuart Weston) and uproarious banter takes place in the Grassy Knoll Cafe, reminiscent of the one in Last of the Summer Wine and audiences will be able to sample a similar cafe and its wares in the interval.

It runs at Kibworth Grammar School Hall, School Road, from this Thursday (May 20) until Saturday (May 22) at 7.30pm each night.

Tickets cost 6 from sponsors Kibworth DIY in Fleckney Road or from the website www.kibworth.org.uk.
