AMIDLANDS band who have won awards for their tribute act to 1970s music legends Pink Floyd are returning to Lutterworth next Friday (February 24).

Dark Side Of The Wall are no strangers to Lutterworth, having played there on a number of occasions in recent years.

Next Friday’s return to the Wycliffe Rooms marks the band’s first live performance of 2012.

The band welcomed new voalist Sofia Wilks last year and since then have won rave reviews for their live shows.

Band manager and bass player Steve Chilton said: “Sofia’s performance of the Dark Side Of The Moon album classic The Great Gig In The Sky is proving to be a real show stopper.

“As a result we’re performing to open-mouthed Floydies at every show!

“The Wycliffe Rooms has always been a great venue for us so it’s a great pleasure to be returning there again.

“If you’ve seen Dark Side Of The Wall before then you’ll know it’s a show not to be missed.

“This is live rock music at it’s very best.”

Tickets for the gig cost £10 in advance and can be bought from Payne and Bonds hardware shop in Church Street, or by contacting the band directly by email at band@pinkfoydtribute.co.uk or by phoning Mick Freeman on 07733 120954.
