MARKET Harborough Drama Society has murder in mind with its next production.

Silhouette will be performed by the group at Harborough Theatre from Tuesday through to the following Saturday.

The murder mystery follows the investigations of Detective Inspector Bruton as he attempts to uncover the truth from a cast of characters - all of whom have an apparent motive for committing the deed.

Its format is interesting in that the first act depicts the aftermath of the murder, while the second act shows events leading up to it, leaving the audience guessing until the end.

The author Simon Brettis the man behind the Charles Paris, Mrs Pargeter and Fethering series of crime novels and his radio and TV credits include No Commitments and After Henry among others.

A limited number of tickets are available for evening performances but there are still plenty left for the matinee on Saturday, February 11, at 2.30pm.

To buy tickets, priced £6.50 to £9.50, visit Harborough Theatre,in Church Square on Saturday from 9.30-11.30, Tuesday from 9.30 to 11.30am or Thursday from 7-9pm or visit www.harboroughtheatre.com
