DISC jockeys from Radio Lutterworth are braving the icy November waters of Stanton Lakes near Stoney Stanton, in a sponsored blindfold, fancy dress jet-ski race on Saturday.
The five DJs are hoping to raise money to help pay for a full five year licence for the fledgling station, which has so far been restricted to month-long broadcasts.

They will be taking to the water at midday and the event is expected to last about an hour.

People are welcome to go along to watch the action.

Station spokesman Bill Piper told the Mail the event was being organised by a jet-ski centre at Stanton Lakes and all appropriate safety checks had been carried out.
