The team at Lutterworth Travelodge are celebrating a new look in the hotel after a refurbishment programme which includes new room designs and luxury beds called the Travelodge Dreamer - dubbed ‘the Rolls Royce of beds’ by the firm.
The 40-room hotel, which was opened in 2005 on Mill Lane, has been refurbished in one week by Travelodge’s in-house maintenance team.
It is part of a company wide brand investment of £223 million this year, which includes the opening of 14 new hotels.
Andrew Martin, Lutterworth Travelodge Hotel manager said: “We are very excited to have benefitted from this investment. The work was carried out with no disturbance to our day to day operation and the feedback we have received from customers has been outstanding. Everyone loves the new warm, contemporary feel of our new room and there is no doubt the hero of the room is definitely the Travelodge Dreamer bed.
“The demand for good quality branded budget accommodation in the area is growing at great pace, and now that we have a new room design we are offering even greater value in the local marketplace.”
The Travelodge Dreamer bed is produced by Royal warrant holders Sleepeezee and boasts a 952 individual pocket sprung mattress.
Other additions in the new Travelodge room include a larger desk, new carpet, artwork above the bed and a refitted en-suite bathroom.
