Plans for the next phase of house-building at a new estate in the Harborough district have been announced.

Miller Homes has confirmed its proposals for the next phase of 45 homes at Stretton Glen in Great Glen.

The new two, three, four and five-bedroom properties will form part of phase three of the development.

Among the new properties released for sale will be the four-bedroom detached Wells-style home.

With prices starting from £312,000, these spacious family homes feature a large lounge with French doors on to the garden, dining room, study and master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

Paul Walters, associate director for Miller Homes in the Midlands, said: “Reserving now could see buyers settled into their new home far quicker than they think.

“Part exchange is available on many of the new properties, meaning that those looking to move up the property ladder don’t need to wait for a buyer.

“It’s an option that’s proving attractive to many as it takes away all the hassle and strains of selling a property and allows people to focus on their new home.

“Miller can buy your existing home, based on a comprehensive independent valuation report, meaning that there’s no need to handle things like estate agents’ fees or showing round potential buyers.”

Stretton Glen is located in a rural setting but is still just a short distance away from Leicester city and the market town of Harborough.

The firm said it has made it one of Miller Homes’ most desirable locations in the whole of the East Midlands.

Mr Walters added: “New properties at the development have always attracted lots of interest.

“One family even camped out in the car park for 27 hours to secure their dream home.

“I believes that phase three will be equally as popular.

“Enquiry levels at this development are certainly among our highest and the sales team are constantly being asked when new properties will be available.

“The excellent reputation of the schools in the area are a major draw and we are able to offer the perfect property size for families. There is a real buzz about the property market at the moment and I expect these new properties will really capture the interest of buyers.”
