Rabbit expert Claire hops to lecture appointment

A RABBIT expert from a Harborough vets has been invited to lecture at a prestigious national conference.

Claire King, a registered veterinary nurse at Ash Tree Veterinary Practice, will lecture at the 2012 British Veterinary Small Animal Congress (BSAVA) at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham on Friday, April 13.

The BSAVA congress takes place annually over four days, attracting thousands of veterinary surgeons and nurses from around the world and it is an esteemed credit to be asked to speak at the event.

Claire will be lecturing to fellow veterinary nurses on the subject of rabbit clinics, an area which she has specialised in for many years.

Claire has written countless papers on the subject for journals and runs regular rabbit clinics at Ash Tree’s Harborough branch.

“I am really looking forward to speaking at the BSAVA Congress,” said Claire.

“Rabbit medicine has been of particular interest to me for many years now and it is great to have the opportunity to help people give their rabbits the best possible care.”

Claire’s rabbit clinics take place every Friday afternoon between 4pm and 5.30pm and are free of charge to clients of Ash Tree Veterinary Practice.
