A village is to benefit from a £5,000 donation from a home builder which will help to create a new park.

Langton Homes is donating the money to Ashley village.

Bill Swaney, Ashley’s Parish Council chairman and Cllr Ann Morgan of the parish council, said: “We are delighted to have worked with Langton Homes in creating this carefully planned development, working in partnership with the villagers to create improved recreational facilities for the whole community.”
Langton Homes donated the funds to benefit the expanding village as they head towards completion of four properties there which are to be completed by Summer 2014.

The properties, Swallows Barn, The Corner House, The Thatched Cottage and Brook House all over look paddock land.

Ben Cripps, director of Langton Homes, said: “We are delighted with the finished look and feel to the properties.

“At Langton Homes we use traditional skills and materials combined with the latest modern technology to create stunning looking homes that are both energy efficient and finished to an excellent specification.”
