Drugs in Welland Park

CONCERNED mums have contacted police after a dealer attempted to sell drugs to their children in Welland Park.

The children were offered Mephedrone, also known as M-cat while they were in the park in Harborough.

Police were given a full account of the incident on Wednesday, February 1.

Insp Paul McKinder said: “I would like to reassure residents who live in Harborough that reports of these matter are extremely rare and we are not aware of a wider spread issue.”

The police are taking the matter very seriously and are carrying out further enquiries.
