Five police vehicles were called to a house in Desborough on Sunday night after four people climbed on to the roof.
The big 999 response was sparked as local residents feared the teenagers were stealing lead from the empty manor house on Gold Street.
The three boys and a girl at the centre of the rooftop drama in Desborough were taken home by officers at about 8.30pm.
