Three charged over attempted robbery at bank

THREE men have been charged with attempting to rob a bank in Lutterworth.

The incident happened at NatWest, in High Street, at 10.25am on Thursday.

Leicestershire police said three men, aged 31, 33 and 34, have now been charged with attempted robbery and remanded into custody.

They were due to appear at Loughborough Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, police said.
