Youth touched himself ‘inappropriately’ in front of mum and her children

AN APPEAL has been launched to find a youth who touched himself ‘inappropriately’ in front of a woman and her children.

Harborough police are appealing for witnesses following the indecent act in Little Bowden Rec at about 4pm on Friday, December 28.

Police said the youth was wearing a pink T-shirt and grey jogging bottoms and was last seen walking off towards the alleyway which leads on to Nithsdale Crescent.

PC Malc Roberts, who is investigating the incident, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and we need to identify the suspect responsible.

“If you witnessed the incident or you recognise the description please contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC 2178 Malc Roberts on 101, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer’s identification number 2178.
