Lingerie factory shop launches bra-fitting campaign

A lingerie shop is hosting an event next weekend to raise awareness about the importance of bra-fitting.
Eveden in Rothwell Road, Desborough, says studies show 80 per cent of women wear the wrong bra size and it is now campaigning to raise more local awareness of this.
Staff at the factory shop are running an event next Saturday (March 23), from 9am-5pm, and next Sunday, from 11am-5pm, inviting the community to visit its team of expert bra-fitters to see if they are wearing the right bra size, view all of their lingerie and swimwear ranges and to receive bra tips and advice.
Perfectly-fitting lingerie should be comfortable, supportive and provide the best shape under clothes, it says. The Desborough shop sells lingerie and swimwear for cup sizes A to K and also specialises in larger cup-size brands such as Freya, Fantasie, Fauve and Elomi with ranges available from a 28-inch to 48-inch back.
In addition, shoppers are also able to buy smaller cup-size brands too such as Huit, Chantelle and Royce.
Sandra Brown, Eveden’s store manager, said: “Our aim is to get every woman in the area wearing the correct size bra, but with so many of us wearing the completely wrong size we have got a fight on our hands.
“Wearing a perfectly fitting bra makes so much difference to your figure, not only will it lift your bust but it will also make you look slimmer and boost your confidence, so we really urge women to come and see us for a fitting.
“Catering for the local community is really important for us and we seriously consider their demands, whether it’s the cup sizes they want more of or changing our opening times. We now open at 9am during weekdays so anyone on the school-run can pop in.”
Shoppers next weekend will also receive a 10 per cent discount if they spend £30 or more.
