Arrests after teenagers involved in post-GCSEs fight

POLICE are investigating a fight which broke out in Harborough town centre as teenagers celebrated their GCSE exam results.

A 14-year-old boy got a cut face in the fracas, which broke out shortly after youths had been thrown out of a teenagers' night at Club Enigma in Coventry Road, Harborough, on Tuesday (August 24).

Police were called to the nearby Commons car park, off Coventry Road, just after 10pm.

About ten teenagers were said to have been involved in the scuffle.

One youth has been arrested for a public order offence and has been released on poilce bail pending further inquiries.

A police spokesman said teenagers had been ejected from a no-alcohol teenagers' night at Club Enigma before the trouble flared.

The event, a regular fixture at the venue, was busy as youngsters were celebrating receiving their GCSE results earlier that day.
