North Kilworth Sports Club hosted a superb Premier League Darts-style evening.

Three top darts players, Paul Nicholson, Aaron Monk and James Hubbard, gave their services free of charge for the event.

It was sponsored by Harborough based Burghley Sports who are the official PDC merchandise supplier, owned by Dee Smith.

The event was organised by North Kilworth Youth Academy chairman Keith Low who was raising funds for the football section and for the National Autistic Society which Dee has been involved with through her son Ryan who suffers with autism.

Mr Low said: “I can’t praise or thank the darts players enough, they all came a long way to give us a fantastic exhibition of darts.

“Throughout the evening they played against local players and mixed with all the crowd, they also bought along loads of memorabilia to auction off to raise the funds. Many thanks to to Modus Management for their help as well.”

Dee added: “I’m proud to be associated with these players with the hectic PDC calendar they have! To give up their free night to help raise funds for our causes, they are a credit.

“Keith has done a lot to encourage those with special needs like Ryan and Sam to play football, I’m am happy the event helped raise funds for his football club.”
