Quiz night to help scouts group

TRIVIA fans are being invited to test their grey matter and help a scout group raise funds for an exciting trip abroad.

The 1st Bowden’s Scout Group are holding a quiz at Meadowdale Primary School in Harborough on Friday, February 1.

Tickets cost £7 which includes a fish and chips supper, or a spring roll and chips.

Teams should be made up of between four and six people.

Tickets are available via the scouts’ website at www.bowdens2kisc.co.uk. The deadline to enter is this Tuesday to allow for catering arrangements to be made.

The scouts are raising money for a summer trip to Kandersteg high up in the Swiss mountains.

Activities will include tobogganing, mountain hiking and even swimming in an ice lake.

The group hopes to raise £12,000 to subsidise the cost of this trip.
