Teenager killed in South Kilworth crash named by police

A teenager who died following a car crash in South Kilworth has been named by police.

Taliesin Onderka-Lang (17), of Welford, was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa which left the road and hit a tree on Rugby Road between Swinford and South Kilworth, police confirmed today.

He was taken to the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire in a serious condition following the crash at about 7.50am on Wednesday last week (March 13), but died on Monday evening.

Detective Constable Seamus Burns, the investigating officer, said: “We are continuing our enquiries into this investigation and we would still like to appeal to anyone who may have seen the car travelling along Rugby Road at the time of the collision or beforehand.

“If you have any information, please get in touch with us urgently.”
