Volunteer centre needs more trustees

An appeal has been issued to fill vacancies on the board of trustees of a Harborough volunteer centre.

Vacancies have arisen at Voluntary Action South Leicestershire, based at The Settling Rooms in the Sainsbury’s car park.

The organisation provides services, supports community groups and builds partnerships for community needs.

The role is unpaid but out-of-pocket expenses are paid.

VASL is looking for people with expertise in the health and social care arena or those with marketing and communications experience in that sector or the business and environment field. Potential trustees need to be able to commit time to attend meetings participate in joint working groups with staff.
