A quick reminder that it’s #harboroughhour again on Twitter tonight (Wednesday) between 8pm and 9pm.
Tonight will be the eighth instalment of the initiative, launched back on July 3, which gives Twitter users an opportunity to air their views on any #Harborough subjects they like or to give their businesses or events a plug. There is a captive audience of #Harborough folk eager to hear about district topics.
Last week’s was the busiest to date and saw 80 original tweets sent, 51 ‘@’ messages, 53 re-tweets and 184 total interactions over the course of the hour and its overall reach, which is to say how many people could possibly have seen the tweets, was just under 60,000.
There have been an increasing number of interesting subjects raised over the past few weeks and tweets sent with pictures too.
There was even an ex-Harborian messaging from Florida last week!
Mail deputy editor Alex Blackwell will be monitoring the Harborough Mail Twitter account [Ed’s note: providing he has not fallen asleep in front of the TV by 8pm] with a view to keeping the conversation flowing.
And there will be the usual re-cap of tonight’s banter posted on the Mail website on Thursday.
