Firefighters attended the scene of a motorcycle crash in the Harborough district yesterday (Sunday).
The crash, which involved two motorbikes, happened on the A47/B6047 intersection at Billesdon.
No-one was trapped but fire crews made sure the vehicles were safe and left the incident in the hands of the police, according to the Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service daily report log.
The Billesdon Fire Station in Rolleston Road had held an open day and family fun event on Saturday between 11am and 4pm.
Meanwhile, firefighters in Lutterworth helped remove a ring that had become stuck on someone’s finger yesterday (Sunday) at 4.40pm.
The person had visited the town’s fire station in Gilmorton Road where firefighters removed the item of jewellery.
Fire crews from Lutterworth were also called to the Catthorpe Interchange/M1 at junction 19 yesterday at about 1pm after a single vehicle was involved in a crash.
Firefighters made the vehicle safe.
