A workshop on how social media can help drive your business forward is being held in Market Harborough next week.
Run by Harborough social media expert Libby Langley of town firm Zest Communications, the workshop aims to give people everything they need to know to effectively use social media to enhance your business objectives.
The event is being held at Harborough Innovation Centre, on the outskirts of town on the A6 at Airfield Business Park, on Thursday, October 10, from 9.30am until 4.30pm.
Tickets cost £27.25, which has been heavily subsidised by Harborough District Council, and includes refreshments and lunch.
Libby (pictured, inset) is a professional social media trainer and has specifically designed the workshop for the Spark Harborough programme.
The workshop will be highly practical and interactive (please bring your laptop) and will cover the following aspects:
*Understanding your customers.
*Understanding social media’s role.
*Social media platforms and how to use them.
*Planning a strategy or campaign.
By the end of the workshop delegates will be able to understand the principles of marketing and social media, know how to use social media to communicate effectively, use a range of different social media networks and tools, pick which social media websites will work best and enable you to create a social media marketing strategy for your firm.
Spark Harborough is being run by Oxford Innovation, which runs the innovation centre, on behalf of Harborough District Council.
