Harborough charity The Squires Effect is organising a big fundraising party event at The Quarry Master pub in Mountsorrel this Saturday.
It runs from 11am to 11pm and includes a family fun day, a dozen house music DJs performing in a marquee, face-painting, an appearance by Peppa Pig, games, bouncy castles, a barbecue, children’s disco and a fire dancing act.
There is also a charity auction with plenty of glamorous prizes including two tickets to Metropolis in Leeds, Tigi hair products and bottles of Champagne.
Penny Squires, from the charity, said: “We were overwhelmed when DJ Wayne Hayward approached us about the Glam team wanting to host this event in aid of our charity.
“They have made a massive effort in order to make this event amazing. Our charity supports those less fortunate than ourselves and this year we are helping The Laura Centre and Bamboozle Theatre.”
