Harborough MP Sir Edward Garnier went back to school as he took on the role of milk monitor at Foxton Primary.
Sir Edward visited the school on World School Milk Day on Wednesday last week, organised to promote the health benefits of milk.
He said: “I can remember break time milk when I was at school and I am glad to see that young children still get free or subsidised milk nowadays. It is an invaluable form of nutrition and I applaud World School Milk Day’s efforts in highlighting its continued importance.”
