A man has been seriously injured in a crash in Rothwell Road, Desborough, this morning (Friday, September 13).
The incident, involving just one vehicle which struck a parked car and also damaged a telegraph pole, happened at about 5.50am.
Fire crews were called to the scene to free the man from the vehicle and police officers closed the road.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said the man had suffered serious injuries.
She added: “A silver Citroen Zsara, driven by a Desborough man, was travelling towards Rothwell when it was in collision with a Ford Ka parked at the side of the road.
“The driver of the Citroen was taken to Kettering General Hospital with serious injuries.”
