Two men and a 16-year-old boy have appeared in court charged with GBH following an incident at a traveller site in Harborough.
Luckyboy Charlie Lee (44), 18-year-old Charlie Luckyboy Lee, and the teenager - who cannot be named for legal reasons - were remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates in Northamptonshire on Saturday.
They were charged with GBH following an incident at the Justin Park traveller site in Harborough on Thursday in which a man suffered apparent machete wounds to his head and hands.
The victim was airlifted to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which were described as non-life threatening.
Police were also called to Greenacres traveller site in Leicester Road on Saturday evening to arrest two men who were suspects in an alleged assault at Justin Park earlier in the day.
Witnesses described seeing as many as seven police cars at the site, including an armed response unit, between 7pm and 8pm.
Leicestershire police said Harborough officers were assisting colleagues from the Northamptonshire force at the site.
Northamptonshire Police said a 20-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assault but later released without charge.
