Ex-Arsenal and England footballer Ray Parlour gave promising young players at a development school in Harborough an insight into life as a professional.
Parlour, who made more than 330 appearances for the Gunners - including in the double-winning sides of 1998 and 2002 - spent the day at the Football Development School (FDS) in St Mary’s Road last Thursday.
He told youngsters about life in the professional game during a Q and A session as well as signing autographs.
FDS, which is affiliated with West Bromwich Albion, works in schools across the Harborough area and beyond to develop young players.
It features an indoor skills area, gym and leisure facilities for use by the best of those players during special coaching session.
