Our neighbours from across the Channel were given a warm welcome in Harborough as part of a French exchange trip run by the town’s Robert Smyth Academy.

As part of the exchange, 28 students and two teachers from Lycée Alfred Kastler in Guebwiller (Alsace) spent a week in Market Harborough staying with the families of pupils from Robert Smyth.

The students spent Friday morning at the school in Burnmill Road before doing a quiz in the town. They will also be visiting Cambridge and National Space Centre in Leicester.
