So very soon I will be joining the wonderful world of Starbucks.
No, I will not be joining the barista ranks but as a new mum!
My husband James and I are 20 weeks pregnant.
So far, all we have bought is fancy dress clothes for our forthcoming little bundle of joy.
The whole prospect of being a mum has started to scare me a little as I am not very good at being conventional and routines worry me.
I have bought some baby books, though, which are being used to prop up my dressing table.
I think if I had been to visit John Lewis before falling pregnant we would have opted for a boat.
The amount of kit a new-born child seems to need is crazy and a pushchair (or what is now a 21st century travel system) costs more than my husband’s old car!
Please feel free to tweet with advice as I am a little lost.
I would really appreciate your help as it’s daunting thinking that in five months’ time I will have a kid!
Maybe we could pretend it is a Blue Peter dog and you could help to name it?
Ok, I kid, but what the hell is a top-and-tail bowl?
Why can’t I eat anything?
And, oh yes, where is my bump!?
