Warning issued after stranger approached Harborough student and seemed 'determined to upset them'

A warning has been issued to Welland Park students after a young person was approached by a stranger.

A man approached the student by the car park and allotments of Little Bowden Park yesterday evening (Wednesday).

He was dressed in black with a black face covering.

The school says he was ‘determined to interact with and upset the young person’.

A school spokesman said: “Could you please take this opportunity to remind youngsters to be alert at all times, particularly when walking alone.”
