Pick of the Week: ballroom dancing

SCHEDULES for 2013 have been released by dancing duo Glenn and Nikki Badham.

The Husbands Bosworth couple, who have won national awards for their ballroom dancing, are holding four Latin and American dance classes in the Harborough district this year, they announced this week.

Mr Badham, who is also a professional artist, has previously run classes at Welland Park College in Harborough.

There are sessions for absolute beginners, fast learners and improvers.

* On Mondays for absolute beginners at Meadowdale Primary School in Meadowdale Road, Harborough, from 7pm-8pm. This is run by Glenn.

* On Wednesdays for improvers at Meadowdale Primary School in Meadowdale Road, Harborough, from 7pm-8pm. This is led by Glenn.

* On Thursdays for absolute improvers at Husbands Bosworth Village Hall in Welford Road, from 7pm-8pm. This is run by Glenn.

* On Thursdays for fast learners at Walcote Village Hall in Franks Road, from 7pm-8pm.
