Gala introduction

DIDDY members at Market Harborough SC were joined by their counterparts from Leicester Sharks and Warwickshire’s Kingsbury Aquarius in an exciting four-lane gala.

The hosts fielded teams Nemo and Dory to enable up-and-coming swimmers a chance to experience gala conditions.

Making their Diddy debuts for Harborough were Lewis Burnage, Betty To, Joseph Dunn, Emily Heron, Lois Vye, Oliver Moss, James Rushby, Molly Johnson, Eva Burke, Isaac Hudson, Isabella Bradley, Giaan Mann, Taran Mann, Heidi Lloyd-Williams, Lexi Moakes, Thomas Hulse, Matthew Priestley, Fergus Nicol, Stewart Nicol, Rosie Burke, Frankie Aldridge, Anna Kendall and Josh Maclean, who all had fine first swims.

Kingsbury took home the trophy and Nemo finished second and Sharks third. Team Dory was a time-only lane.
