Hallaton in the Great War is showcased in Tales of the Unexpected and looks at the surprising stories of Hallaton men and women in very different theatres of war.

There will be displays featuring swords, sand, sun and snow.

You can also see items based around Hallaton’s submariner, looking at service and the slaughter of men from the area on the Somme, Cambrai and Epehy as well as looking at prisoners of war from Hallaton.

It will be open on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays running from 2.30pm to 5pm until October 2.
