Feelgood with the doctor at three day music festival

Music from all eras will be coming to a three day festival in the Daventry district.

Dr Feelgood and John Coghlan’s Quo will be headlining Rockin’ The Park, which starts on Friday July 8 and will take place at Brixworth Country Park.

The opening night is a jam session and admission is free.

The Saturday night will be headlined by Dr Feelgood with John Coghlan’s Quo headlining the Sunday.

Dr Feelgood is currently made up of Kevin Morris, P H Mitchell, Steve Walwyn and Robert Kane. The line up has undergone a lot of changes since its formation in 1971.

Other acts playing include Drivin’ South, Guy Valarino, Rapscallion, Sons Of Icarus, Whole Lotta Led, Whiteroom, Nine Miles South, Reggae Matik, Never The Agreed, Ugly Fruit, The Houndogs, Retro 45 and One Step Behind.

Tickets for Saturday and Sunday, cost £37.50 or £25 per day.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and local causes in memory of villager David Reger, who died in a motorbike accident in August 2015.
