The Fake Festival takes place at Symingtons Recreation Ground in August and will see tributes to Queen, Oasis and Coldplay.

Early bird tickets for the festival are selling fast and will only be on sale until Wednesday, July 13.

Festival-goers will experience a full day and night of live music at world-class standards.

“Music festival ticket prices just keep rising and rising, and a lot now offer payment plans as they are so expensive,” said Jez Lee, owner of Fake Festivals. “We have kept our overheads down as much as possible without compromising on quality and standards, and are able to offer our early bird tickets well under £20, which we hope is affordable for everyone.

“We have not sold out to large corporations, but kept Fake Festivals as a community orientated event.”

In addition to the tribute acts, there will be five local performers at the event.

Tickets are £16.50 for adults, £9 for people aged 10-17 and £42 for a family ticket. Children under 10 can get in free.
